Dr. Lisa Alvarez and her team are AMAZING!!
Truthfully, I came to this vein specialist just wanting to focus on a cosmetic issue (bulging vein) that I had in my leg. Her team was very thorough and with a bilateral ultrasound of both of my legs, they found a significant amount of reflux. Around the same time, I started to have tingling and achiness in my legs at night. I had many sleepless nights and had to massage my legs and put them up the wall constantly for relief!!
I have been type one diabetic for years, so I thought it was diabetic neuropathy. After my bilateral vein ablations with Dr. Alvarez and her wonderful team, the restless leg syndrome completely went away! The bulging vein in my leg drastically reduced! I still did come in to see her to get the vein phlebectomy (for cosmetic purposes), but my legs are feeling better than they have in years! I highly recommend her and her team! You will not regret it!
